Privacy Policy

WattShelf Solar (“we”) operates the WattShelf platform — inventory, sales, and referral tooling for independent solar retailers. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

Data we store

• Account data: your name, email, and role, managed by the platform authentication system.
• Store data you enter: products, suppliers, customers, sales, contractors, referrals, and listings. This data belongs to your account.
• Usage data: anonymous interaction events used to improve the product.

How we use it

We use your data to run the features you use — dashboards, reports, low-stock alerts, and billing. We never sell your data. Aggregated, de-identified metrics may be used for analytics.

Data access & isolation

Each account’s operational records are isolated by ownership. Only you and platform administrators can read your records. We process payments through Base44 Payments; card data is collected on the processor’s hosted checkout and never touches our servers.

Your rights

You can export or delete your data from Settings, or request full deletion by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your operational records; billing records are retained as needed for accounting.
